Description

Registered Nurse (RN) ICU – Night Shift

Location: Maywood, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours/week, every third weekend)
Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Medical ICU setting.
Night shift position on 4NW unit.
Work schedule includes 36 hours per week with every third weekend required.

Required Certifications & Licenses

Registered Nurse (RN) license valid and verified within 30 days of start.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association).
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) knowledge/competency.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Knowledge and competency in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Background & Compliance Requirements

Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification.
Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
Exclusion screenings including EPLS, OIG, NSO, and Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year.
Signed confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest, and integrity/audit services forms.
System access form completed and submitted one week prior to start.
Skills checklist to be completed by the agency for clinical competency verification.
