Operating Room RN

Location

• Willoughby, Ohio

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Long-term assignment

Schedule

• 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Shift time: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Call required
• Weekday call: at least 1 day per week
• Weekend call: at least 1 to 2 weekend days per month

Setting

• Operating room at a level III trauma referral center
• 7 operating rooms
• Case mix includes general, robotic, orthopedic, orthopedic trauma, thoracic, vascular, hybrid, urology, ophthalmology, bariatrics, pain, and podiatry

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• Driver's License
• Non-expired photo ID
• 2 professional references from the last 2 years
• Resume
• Job application
• Employment history form confirming previous employment at University Hospitals, if applicable

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

• 2-step TB test or IGRA with negative reads within the last 6 months
• Influenza vaccine proof required from October through March
• If declining flu vaccine, masking attestation and influenza vaccine declination form are required
• If medically exempt from flu vaccine, a medical accommodation form and physician-signed letter on medical office letterhead are required
• Background check within 6 months of start
• OIG search within 6 months prior to start
• SAM and OFAC searches within 6 months prior to start
• Drug screen within 60 days of start
• Completion of required safety and compliance training modules before clearance
• Badge photo for onboarding

Notes

• If TB test is positive, a clear chest x-ray and current TB questionnaire are required
• If there is a break in assignment greater than 60 days, a new 10-panel drug screen is required
• If there is a break in assignment of 6 months or more, a new background check is required
