Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Required Documents
- Work history
- Skills checklist current within 1 year, relevant to the specialty
- 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years
Job Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing care according to the physician-authorized plan of care and nursing standards
- Provide direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, transfers, and responding to alarms
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and help update the care plan with the team
- Process physician/provider orders and complete ordered care accurately and on time
- Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications
