Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
- Chest tube management
- Femstop management
- Tracheostomy management
- CBI (continuous bladder irrigation) management
- Drain management
- Central line management
- Amiodarone administration and titration
- Cardizem administration and titration
- Nitro administration and titration
- Insulin administration and titration
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
- Experience administering and titrating medications including amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban
Work Expectations
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Required to work 1–2 of the 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, unless local placement is accepted under the stated exception
