Night Shift Registered Nurse
Location
Hilo, Hawaii
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- Night shift
- 36 hours per week after the first full week of orientation
- Must be flexible with varying shift lengths and days
- No guarantee of hours or shift preference
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Compliance
- Flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception is required before the contract start date
Unit Details
- Medical unit
- Bed size: 77
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6 on days/evenings, 1:8 on nights
Responsibilities and Work Environment
- May float to other units, including a cardiovascular unit
- Uses Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
- Professional nursing attire
- Orientation is provided for each unit
