Description

Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Akron, Ohio
Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Specialty Experience

Minimum of 18 months of permanent operating room experience
Scrub experience is preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
OR - Operating Room (1.5 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Background check
Government-issued photo ID
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Flu vaccination or approved exemption documentation
Tdap vaccination
MMR immunity documentation
Varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B immunity documentation
Drug screen within 12 months of start
Snellen eye exam within 1 year of start
2 references from employment within 1 year of start

BCI/FBI fingerprinting and fingerprint attestation
Education verification
Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
Monthly HHS/OIG screening
Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III competencies
