Interventional Technologist I
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 4–10 hour shifts with a rotating day off
- On-call coverage as needed
Role Summary
- Assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to diagnose, monitor, and treat conditions without surgery
- Supports procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management
- Works in a scrub tech role during procedures and maintains a strict sterile field
- Handles post-testing quality review, equipment maintenance, quality assurance tasks, and onboarding/precepting support as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association upon hire
- Graduate of a post-secondary educational program in health science such as cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT, or completion of a military educational program
- ARRT(RT), RCES, or RCIS certification within 18 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Cath lab experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience
Additional Notes
- The manager will consider candidates with no travel experience and no trauma experience
