Description

Interventional Technologist I

Location

  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • 4–10 hour shifts with a rotating day off
  • On-call coverage as needed

Role Summary

  • Assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to diagnose, monitor, and treat conditions without surgery
  • Supports procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management
  • Works in a scrub tech role during procedures and maintains a strict sterile field
  • Handles post-testing quality review, equipment maintenance, quality assurance tasks, and onboarding/precepting support as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
  • ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association upon hire
  • Graduate of a post-secondary educational program in health science such as cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT, or completion of a military educational program
  • ARRT(RT), RCES, or RCIS certification within 18 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cath lab experience
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience

Additional Notes

  • The manager will consider candidates with no travel experience and no trauma experience
