Job Overview

Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

Skills checklist for the assigned unit, completed and updated annually
Core competency exam with a score of 80% or higher, updated annually
Color headshot photo in JPEG format
Agency background check completed within 30 days of start
9+ panel agency drug screen excluding marijuana
Two professional references: one supervisor reference from employment within the last 12 months and one supervisor or peer reference from employment within the last 3 years
Employment verification for the most recent employer
Personal information form
Code of conduct acknowledgment
Confirmation of assignment form
Self-study packet documentation and quiz
Sexual harassment acknowledgment
Parking registration form
7 instant background checks
AH drug tobacco acknowledgment
TB questionnaire form
Education mission statement for initial assignments only

Health and Immunization Requirements

COVID-19 vaccine proof or agency declination is optional
MMR immunity by positive IgG titers or 2-dose vaccine series
Varicella immunity by positive IgG titer or 2-dose vaccine series
Hepatitis B immunity by positive antibody titer, 3-dose vaccine series, or specific declination form
Tdap within the last 10 years or specific declination form
TB testing with one of the listed acceptable methods; annual requirement
Physical/health statement within the past 12 months showing no restrictions
Fit test completed prior to start and within the last 12 months; annual requirement

Work Expectations

Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
