Registered Nurse - Progressive Care
Location
Watertown, New York
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- Weekend, holiday, and call required
- 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in New York
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Experience in Charge roles
- One completed travel assignment
Preferred Qualifications
- Current critical care experience
- PALS
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care and assess patient needs
- Recognize safety issues and use lifts or move patients safely
- Function well in stressful situations
- Use strong problem-solving, leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills
- May be required to serve as charge nurse
- Communicate effectively in interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal formats
