Description

Registered Nurse Circulator

Job Overview

Location: Ithaca, New York
Shift: 10-hour day shift, 07:00–17:30
Schedule: Weekday and weekend call required; block scheduling will be attempted but is not guaranteed
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

Resume with all employment and gaps from the last 7 years accounted for, education history included, and all dates in MM/YY format
2 professional references: 1 supervisor reference from employment within the last 12 months, and 1 supervisor or peer reference from employment within the last 3 years
Agency background check completed within 30 days of start
Agency drug screen
Centralus Epic Questionnaire
Pharmacology exam
TB questionnaire form
State ID or driver’s license
Color headshot
Employment verification from the most recent employer
Education verification is optional
Proof of active TN visa is required for candidates holding a Canadian-issued license if applicable

Health and Immunization Requirements

Physical/health statement within the past 12 months
TB testing
MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination as specified
Tdap within the last 10 years
Fit test completed prior to start and within the last 12 months
COVID-19 vaccine is optional

Additional Notes

Unit-specific skills checklist and core competency exam are required during onboarding
Drug screen must not include marijuana testing
If the assignment is extended beyond one year, a reassessment form is required
