Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology certification
- Oncology experience
Assignment Details
- Adult oncology and trauma PCU patient population
- 18-bed unit
- Travelers float to other Med/Surg and PCU units at the same level of care
- Two days of unit orientation
- Self-scheduling, balanced to unit needs
Clinical Skills / Unit Expectations
- May titrate insulin and Cardizem drips
- Common medications/drips include chemotherapy, heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix
- High-flow respiratory equipment may be encountered
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
