OR Registered Nurse

Location

  • San Andreas, California

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • Day shift
  • 8-hour shifts
  • 40 hours per week
  • Every other weekend
  • May need to float to recovery

Required Qualifications

  • Active California RN license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • 2 years of OR experience

Preferred Experience

  • Endoscopy experience
  • Recovery and/or pre-op experience

Assignment Details

  • Rural hospital setting
  • OR unit with 2 OR suites and 1 endoscopy suite
  • Common cases include general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, endoscopy, and pain management
  • Scrubbing is preferred for RNs
  • 3-shift orientation

Call Requirements

  • Weeknight call is shared among staff
  • Weekend call is required
  • Holiday call is required
  • 45-minute call response time
