Travel Registered Nurse
Location
- Omaha, Nebraska
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- Every other weekend
- No block or self-scheduling
Unit Overview
- Combined cardio, general ICU, PCU, and MedSurg unit
- Generalist ICU and PCU experience accepted
- Patient population includes intermediate care and downgraded CVICU patients
- RN-to-patient ratios include 1:4, with 1:3 for post-surgical patients in the first 24 hours
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- 1 year of experience with this patient population
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Driver’s license required at submittal
Clinical Expectations
- Must be able to titrate drips
- Must read and interpret telemetry strips
- May float to same or lower acuity levels
Unit Support
- Charge nurse present on each shift
- Nurse aides/patient care techs available
- Hospitalist and intensivist in house 24/7
- Respiratory therapy available 24/7
Additional Notes
- RTO must be submitted upfront; no additional RTO will be approved after submission
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
- Navy blue scrubs required
