Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (3 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Job Responsibilities
- Provide care for assigned patients during the peri-anesthesia continuum
- Perform assessment and data collection to support individualized plans of care
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and collaborative interventions
- Evaluate patient status and the effectiveness of interventions
- Assist with nerve blocks and pre-anesthesia assessments
- Communicate patient status to anesthesia under direct supervision
- Perform Phase I post-anesthesia care and transition patients to Phase II care
