Registered Respiratory Therapist
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Atlanta, Georgia
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required
- Must be willing to float to sister facilities, the emergency department, and the ICU
- Minimal to no requested time off; must be included on submission
- Possible extension
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Diploma or associate degree in a respiratory therapy program
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Fiberoptic intubation (FM) at intermediate/advanced level
- Mechanical ventilation management
- Triage
- Level I Trauma care
- Knowledge of V-60 ventilator
- Knowledge of Servo-i ventilator
- Knowledge of Drager ventilator
- Knowledge of Hamilton T-1 ventilator
- Experience with Epic

- N95 fit test within 12 months of start
- Tdap vaccination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation
- Measles immunity documentation
- Mumps immunity documentation
- Rubella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
- Varicella immunity documentation
- 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine within 60 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination documentation for the current season
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
- HHS/OIG screening
