Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Atlanta, Georgia
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift, 3x12 hours
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holidays required
  • Must be willing to float to sister facilities, the emergency department, and the ICU
  • Minimal to no requested time off; must be included on submission
  • Possible extension

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • Diploma or associate degree in a respiratory therapy program
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Fiberoptic intubation (FM) at intermediate/advanced level
  • Mechanical ventilation management
  • Triage
  • Level I Trauma care
  • Knowledge of V-60 ventilator
  • Knowledge of Servo-i ventilator
  • Knowledge of Drager ventilator
  • Knowledge of Hamilton T-1 ventilator
  • Experience with Epic

  • N95 fit test within 12 months of start
  • Tdap vaccination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation
  • Measles immunity documentation
  • Mumps immunity documentation
  • Rubella immunity documentation
  • Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
  • Varicella immunity documentation
  • 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine within 60 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination documentation for the current season
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Background check
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
  • HHS/OIG screening
