Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Epic
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
18 years of combined permanent nursing experience
Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation with acceptable scores
Must work at least every other holiday

Onboarding / Compliance

Background check required before start
Fingerprinting required before start
Education verification required
Physical exam required within 1 year of start
Fit mask testing required before start
Tdap required every 10 years
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required
Flu documentation required seasonally
Eye exam required within 1 year of start
Drug screening required within 12 months of start
BCI/FBI fingerprint attestation required
Skills checklist required annually
