ICU RN Travel Contract

Location

Chesapeake, Virginia

Schedule

Day shift
3x12 hours
Every other weekend, holidays, and floating required
48-hour contract option available
Longer assignment available through January 9, 2027

Unit Details

ICU
Typical patient ratio: 1:2–3
Must be willing to float to stepdown, the emergency department, or medical-surgical units caring for ICU patients being held

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Neuro critical care experience
Ventilator management
Conscious sedation
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Stepdown experience
ED - Emergency Department experience
Med Surg experience
Experience with Epic

Compliance Notes

Must work two of the three winter holidays
Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered
Local RN candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible
