Description

Respiratory Therapist

Location

Pendleton, Oregon

Contract

13 weeks

Shift

Nights

Hours

36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Oregon Respiratory Therapist license

Experience / Skills

  • Ability to manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and bubble CPAP
  • ABG experience
  • Ability to assist with intubation
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced setting

Patient Population / Setting

  • Works with patients of all ages, including neonates
  • Covers the entire hospital, with main needs in inpatient, ER, medical-surgical, CCU, and family birth center areas

Schedule Expectations

  • Variable weekends
  • Holidays required
  • Majority of shifts may be worked alone

Orientation

  • 3–6 shifts

Work Environment

  • Critical access hospital
  • Heavy walking expected during shifts
  • Royal blue scrubs

Additional Notes

  • Daily shift checks and procedure billing are part of the role
