Description

Operating Room RN

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract RN role in San Francisco, California
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift, 8 hours per day
  • Start times: 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM
  • Ability to float to other facilities

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • Liver transplant experience
  • Kidney transplant experience
  • Spine surgery experience
  • DaVinci Xi robotic surgery experience
  • Transplant Surgery experience
  • Neurosurgery experience
  • Vascular Surgery experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNOR
  • ACLS

Clinical Focus

  • Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery
  • Craniotomy procedures
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Dental Surgery
  • Combined Neurosurgery/OHNS procedures
  • Open and endoscopic surgical cases
  • Free flap reconstructive procedures

Additional Experience Notes

  • Current and valid government photo ID or US passport matching the professional license

  • Pass/fail testing for medication and EKG
  • Unit-specific competency exam
  • Core Part I, II, and III
  • Advanced HIPAA module and quiz
  • Cyber security awareness training and quiz
  • Learning modules required before or during orientation, depending on start date and role timing
