PICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Oakland, California
- Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Floating: May float to other facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (5 years of experience)
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric CVICU experience
Additional Notes
- Two supervisory references are required
- A current resume with the last 7 years of work history is required
- Unit-specific skills checklist required
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Fit mask testing required within 1 year of start
- Drug testing required within 30 days of start
- TB screening and immunization documentation are required
- Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but is strongly recommended
