Job Details

  • 26-bed long-term care facility
  • Charge nurse duties include passing medications and performing wound care
  • Patient population includes heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:10 on days, 1:19 on nights
  • 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Every other major holiday required
  • No call or standby
  • No floating
  • 2–3 unit-specific orientation shifts

Additional Notes

  • No clinical involvement
  • No IVs or titratable drips
  • No tele monitoring
  • Clean and presentable attire required
