Contract

• 13 weeks
• Long-term assignment

Schedule

• Shift: 06:45 - 17:30
• Call is required: 2–3 calls during a 6-week schedule
• May need to work one weekend day per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage may be required during Thanksgiving or Christmas

Clinical Focus

• Must be able to circulate:

  • Ortho trauma, spine, total joints
  • Neuro cases including crani and spine
  • General cases including trauma, open and laparoscopic, and general oncology
• Scrubbing is a bonus, but not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Valid driver's license
• Valid non-expired photo ID
• Submission packet with:

  • Resume
  • 2 professional references from the last 2 years
  • Completed job application
  • Employment history form
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year prior to start
• Competency exam with a passing score of at least 80%
• Core competencies with a passing score of at least 80%
• Physical exam statement showing ability to work without restrictions
• Drug screen completed within 60 days of start
• Background check completed within 6 months of start
• Ohio fingerprints or FBI fingerprint check, depending on residency history
• Education verification
• Employment verification within the last 5 years
• OIG search
• SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening
• Module completion certificate before clearance

Health and Immunization Requirements

• MMR immunity documentation
• Varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years
• 2-step TB test or IGRA within the last 6 months
• Fit test completed within 1 year of start
• Influenza vaccine is required during flu season, unless an approved exemption is on file
• COVID-19 vaccination is preferred, not required
