Job Overview
- Location: Calais, Maine
- Employment type: Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour day shifts, full time
Role Summary
- Responsible for safe, sterile setup and handling of surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases.
- Gathers necessary instrumentation and supplies from surgeons’ pick sheets.
- May also handle clerical and other department-related duties.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- CST or NBSTSA or BLS
Additional Expectations
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to work under pressure
