Travel/Contract Registered Nurse Job

Overview

Location: Clifton Springs, New York
Setting: Long-term care nursing home
Employment type: Travel/contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 5x8 hours, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours per week: 40
Staffing ratio: 1:10 on all shifts
Average daily census: 21
Beds: 23
Float required: Yes
Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
Local candidates: Not accepted; must live more than 75 miles away
First-time travelers: Not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Long Term Care experience within the last year
1 year of Long Term Care experience
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles

Additional Notes

Work history verification required
References required for Aya candidates only
Health screening and immunization documentation required before start
Drug screening required within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or signed declination required during flu season
