Description

PICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Setting: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1.5 years of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

NIH Stroke Certification

Additional Job Details

Experience with epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to age 25
EKGs and inotropes are part of the role
Must work at least every other holiday
ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate are completed during orientation, and passing scores are required
Orientation includes facility training modules that must be completed before start
