Specialty Focus

Neonatal respiratory care in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery
Expected clinical skills include aerosol therapy, suctioning, manual and assisted ventilation, intubation assist, surfactant administration, blood gas sampling/analysis/interpretation, humidified therapy, and oxygen delivery support

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP issued by American Academy of Pediatrics
Driver's License

Health and Immunization Requirements

MMR immunity
Varicella immunity
Hepatitis B documentation
Tdap within the last 10 years
Fit test within 1 year of start
TB testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA within the last 6 months
Influenza vaccine may be required seasonally, with declination or medical accommodation options available
