Registered Nurse — IMC

Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Maryland
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
• 48 hours per week
• Float pool assignment with movement from Med/Surg units to IMC units
• Must be comfortable with 1:4–1:6 patient ratios

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS issued by American Heart Association or APEX
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with Epic

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Flu vaccination required
• 2-step PPD required
• 2 clinical references required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• TB clearance required within 1 year of start
• Proof of measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination/declination as specified in the source

Additional Notes

• Candidates may care for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, trauma, and stroke
