Nuclear Medicine Tech
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Los Angeles, California
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- 26-week assignment
- Day shift, 5x8 hours
- Monday through Friday
- Start times vary between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM
- No call or weekends
- Floating may be required within scope to support multiple sites
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine and CT and/or X-ray license; dual licensure is critical
- 1 year of experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast
Work Environment
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- May support multiple sites as needed, including Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, and Santa Clarita
Onboarding / Compliance
- Current and valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID
- Diploma or official transcripts, or education verification
- Background check and required exclusion checks within 30 days of start
- State license verification within 30 days of start
- References: 2 supervisor-level references, with at least 1 from the last year
- Employment application covering the last 7 years, including explanations for gaps of 30 days or more
- Work history verification for the last 5 years, including explanations for gaps of 30 days or more
- Skills checklist required
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask within 1 year of start
- Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation or declination
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and COVID documentation or declination as specified by the onboarding process
- Drug screen within the last 12 months
