ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Dickinson, North Dakota
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- TNCC, TCAR, or experience caring for trauma patients
Job Details
- ICU setting
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2–3 depending on acuity
- RN must titrate drips
- RN must read and interpret telemetry strips
- Floating may be required to medical-surgical or emergency department for 1:1 coverage
- Weekend, holiday, and first-to-float coverage required as needed
- 3 shifts of unit-specific orientation
- Navy scrubs
Patient Population
- DKA
- Sepsis
- Respiratory failure
- Cardiac rate and rhythm control
- Medical detox
- Arterial lines
- CVP monitoring
Additional Notes
- No clinical involvement
- Candidates must be able to pass facility fit testing requirements if applicable
- RTO must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved
