Registered Nurse

Location

Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift

Nights, 12-hour shifts

Schedule

Every other weekend
Every other holiday
Rotating schedule may occur, but not more than weekly

Unit Overview

Med/Tele/PCU setting with adult and geriatric patients
32 beds
More of a tele/cardiac unit

Required Qualifications

Current BLS and ACLS certifications
PCU experience
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
RN must be able to titrate drips

Clinical Experience / Skills

Experience with cardiac patients and cardiac-related conditions
Experience with telemetry/cardiac nursing
Experience working with common titratable drips such as amiodarone, Cardizem, heparin, nitro, Nipride, Lasix, and low-dose dopamine

Responsibilities

Read and interpret telemetry strips
Float as needed to PCU, medical-surgical, ER holds/boarding, and other helping-hand areas

Orientation

2 unit-specific orientation shifts

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Epic is preferred
Candidates must provide requested time off upfront; additional time off will not be approved
