Cardiothoracic Surgery RN

Location

Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift
4 ten-hour shifts per week
0630–1700
Monday–Friday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
CVOR (2 years of experience)
CVOR experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
ED - Emergency Department experience
Neuro ICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

CNOR

Assignment Details

CVOR unit
Mandatory call: 1–2 nights per week, plus possible weekend call
Floating may be required to general OR or BNI OR
Cerner/Surginet experience is used in the unit
Assigned scrubs: Steel Blue

Additional Requirements

Must complete onboarding by 1:00 PM CST on the Wednesday before start
Must be available for weekly Monday orientations, except during holiday weeks
Cannot work another assignment or contract at the same time
Must have been away from CommonSpirit for 12 months as permanent staff to be eligible
No facial piercings
Natural hair colors only
Must have their own vehicle
Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required before acceptance for applicable units
Day 1 pass/fail exam required
SIMs Lab competency expected for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, with unit-specific exceptions noted in the source
