Description

Emergency Room Nurse

Job Overview

  • Location: Newport, Vermont
  • Employment type: Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Mid-shift, with possible rotating shifts
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Schedule: Every other weekend
  • Guaranteed hours: 72 hours bi-weekly

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Vermont
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • CPI
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • NIHSS

Additional Considerations

  • Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transportation
  • The area is described as a small town on the Canadian border with outdoor recreation opportunities
