Diagnostic Imaging Technologist — Hilo, Hawaii
Overview
- Contract role in Hilo, Hawaii
- Variable schedule
- 40-hour workweek with call as needed
- Floating to other departments
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist with 3 years of experience
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- ARDMS or CCI
- RDCS
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience in an acute care setting
Clinical Skills
- Adult echocardiography proficiency, including:
- 2D-Mode
- Doppler CW and PW
- Valvular disease studies
- Color flow mapping
- Cardiomyopathies
- Congenital heart disease
- Pericardial disease
- Effusions
- 2D and 3D TEEs
- Hypertensive heart disease studies
Preferred
- Pediatric experience
Equipment
- Canon i700 and i900
Additional Notes
- Epic EMR begins November 1, 2025
- Personal scrubs or healthcare professional attire required
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for an employee health appointment on Friday
