Description

ICU Registered Nurse

Location

Stockbridge, Georgia

Assignment Details

Travel/contract role
14-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
36 hours per week
First-time travelers are accepted
Locals are accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Setting

ICU
Adult to geriatric patient population
Common diagnoses include ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT
Typical patient ratio is 1:2-3, with possible assignment of a third patient
Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Schedule Expectations

Every other weekend
May be expected to work major holidays if they fall during the assignment
Block scheduling is not guaranteed

Additional Notes

Navy blue scrubs
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
Full compliance is required to start on time
No travel pairs
Clinical screening is required before final decision
