Description

Labor and Delivery RN Travel Contract

Location

  • Stockbridge, Georgia

Assignment Details

  • Travel/contract role
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend
  • One 12-hour call shift per schedule
  • Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • 8-week contract
  • Local candidates accepted

Experience

  • 2 years of minimum specialty experience
  • First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Georgia
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • EFM/AWHONN certification on file prior to start
  • NIH Stroke Certification if required for the specialty
  • Completion of the required competency exams and screenings before start, including dysrhythmia/EKG competency for applicable telemetry-related roles and color-blind testing
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Work history verification
  • 2 clinical references

Compliance and Scheduling Expectations

  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off
  • Must work major holidays as assigned based on the holiday schedule
  • Full compliance is required to start on time

Pre-Start Documentation and Health Requirements

  • Photo ID
  • Background check
  • Education verification
  • Physical exam
  • TB questionnaire
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
  • Drug screen
  • Flu vaccination or declination
  • Skills checklist within 12 months

Additional Notes

  • Clinical review is required before final manager review
  • Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length
