Registered Nurse — Cardiac Tele

Location

• Stockbridge, Georgia

Assignment Details

• Travel/contract role
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 14 weeks
• Local candidates accepted

Patient Population

• Adults to geriatrics

Unit / Clinical Setting

• Overflow IMCU with cardiac telemetry focus
• Common patient types include arrhythmia management, cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal, pulmonary, PE/DVT, post-cardiac cath, DKA, and occasional vascular, ortho, or CVA overflow

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Skills / Experience

• Cardiac drips
• Diuretics
• Anticoagulants
• Insulin drips
• Basic arrhythmia knowledge
• Cardioversion
• TR bands

Schedule Expectations

• Typically every other weekend
• Floating within the facility/scope of practice as needed
• Call is rare with a 2-hour response time
• Major holiday coverage may be required based on assignment dates

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Full compliance is required before start
• First-time travelers are not accepted
