Location
- Redding, California

- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Unit Details
- Cardiac ICU
- 30 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2, with occasional 1:1 assignments
- Charge nurse does not take patient assignments
- No nurse aides
- Vents are used in the unit
- Hospitalist coverage is available 24/7
- Respiratory therapy is available 24/7
- Pharmacy is available 24/7
Schedule / Work Expectations
- Self-scheduling
- Schedule is reviewed by management before finalization
- May be required to work holidays
- Floating may include telemetry or med-surg units
- One day of unit orientation
Additional Notes
- Proctored dysrhythmia testing is required on day one for telemetry, labor and delivery, emergency, and critical care nurses
- Navy scrubs are required
