Operating Room Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Paris, Tennessee
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Includes night/weekend call rotation
• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend every 4–6 weeks
• On-call requirement: 1–2 days per week on a rotating schedule

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS
• PACU experience

• NIH Stroke Certification
• 2 clinical references

• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• HHS/OIG screening
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• N95 fit test within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire
• MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination documentation
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• COVID vaccination or approved exemption
• Skills checklist
• Competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Appearance standards acknowledgment
