Job Summary
- Registered nurse providing direct and indirect care in a therapeutic environment for residents.
- Unit settings include:
- Alzheimer’s/dementia care
- Transitional rehabilitation for short-term skilled nursing and rehab
- Long-term care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Long Term Care experience within the last year
- 2 years of Long Term Care experience
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Required Skills
- Medical terminology preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team of other care providers
- Flexibility to cover 24/7 operations
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed
Additional Notes
- Previous employees are not accepted
- Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
- The assignment may be canceled up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
