Respiratory Therapist
Location
- Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour nights
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend on nights
- Holiday rotation with permanent staff
- Floating required within the hospital in respiratory therapy capacity
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- ACLS
- BLS (AHA)
- Recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience
- Driver’s license required at submittal
Preferred Qualifications
- NRP
- PALS
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Experience with EKGs, bedside bronchoscopy, and bedside spirometry
- Experience caring for patients from neonates to geriatrics
- Inpatient experience covering all areas/floors
Additional Notes
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
- 3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation
- RTO must be submitted upfront and is limited to 7 or fewer days for the 13-week contract
- Candidate must live more than 50 miles away and may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
