Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 2 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry experience
- 1 year of PCU experience
- Ability to read basic telemetry strips and interpret strips
- Experience with CVA and TIA
- Total joint replacement experience
Additional Job Details
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before signing the contract
- Cerner experience is recommended
- No titratable drips required
- May float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified
- Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per 4-week schedule
- Holiday coverage is expected for Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving
- No call or standby requirement
- Orientation: 1 shift on the unit
- Dress code: Navy blue
- Self-scheduling is used, with final schedules balanced by the manager
