Description

Registered Nurse — Ortho

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Burlington, North Carolina
  • Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend required
  • No call
  • Float as needed
  • Charge RN shifts required as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Orthopedics (2 years of experience)
  • Orthopedics experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • Experience in Charge roles
  • Experience with Epic
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Driver's License

Unit Details

  • 29-bed unit serving adult through geriatric orthopedic, medical-surgical, surgical, inpatient observation, and 24-hour observation patients
  • Telemetry monitoring available
  • Physical therapy gym on the unit
  • Common patient populations include total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
