Description

Registered Nurse — Ortho

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Burlington, North Carolina
Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Every other weekend required
No call
Float as needed
Charge RN shifts required as needed

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in North Carolina
Orthopedics (2 years of experience)
Orthopedics experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience in Charge roles
Experience with Epic
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's License

Unit Details

29-bed unit serving adult through geriatric orthopedic, medical-surgical, surgical, inpatient observation, and 24-hour observation patients
Telemetry monitoring available
Physical therapy gym on the unit
Common patient populations include total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
