Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Vermont
• Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or completion of a postgraduate Occupational Therapy certification program

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home health setting preferred

Role Summary

• Screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, and treat patients
• Coordinate and communicate treatment activities with interdisciplinary team members and the patient
• Assess functional ability
• Provide direct treatments
• Select therapeutic modalities
• Communicate with members of the health care team
• Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives
• Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures
