Location

• Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Rotating 8-hour day shifts
• Call required 1–2 times per week
• Weekend call required every 3–4 weekends
• Must be willing to work holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid Surgical Technologist license in North Dakota
• Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS
• CST or NBSTSA or NCCT
• 1 year of Ortho/Neuro OR experience
• 1 year of General/Robotics OR experience
• Open belly surgical cases experience
• GYN surgical cases experience
• Davinci Xi robotic surgery experience
• Endoscopy experience
• Arthroscopy experience
• Neuro-spinal fusion experience
• Cervical and lumbar fusion experience
• Micro disc surgery experience
• Cranial surgery experience
• Sports medicine surgical cases experience

Work Setting

• 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, and 1 Cysto Suite
• Common cases include pediatric to geriatric, cysto, robotic general/GYN/urology, ION robotic cases, open bellies, endo/GI, ortho, neuro, and spine cases

Responsibilities

• May need to float to cross-train in other specialty cases as second scrub
• May need to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter

Additional Details

• 4–5 days of unit orientation plus 2 buddy call shifts
• 15-minute call response time
• 8-hour reprieve shifts after call
• Sleep room available
• Housing nearby for call is available at additional cost
• Scrubs provided
