Schedule

• Day shift, 3x12 hours
• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week

Assignment Length

• 14 weeks

Patient Population

• Adults to geriatrics

Unit Setting

• Telemetry unit

Work Expectations

• Patient ratio: 1:4–5
• Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice
• Every other weekend
• No call required
• One major holiday must be worked if it falls during the assignment; two major holidays must be worked if both fall during the assignment; three major holidays require working two

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH Stroke Certification

Skills / Clinical Experience

• Care for patients with CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT, and vascular issues

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted
• Compliance must be complete before start
• RTO maximum: 7 days
• Blackout dates: April 4–12
• Navy blue scrubs required
