ICU Nurse

Overview

• Schedule note: Must work at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1.5 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Hiring Requirements

• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Background check required before start
• Fingerprinting required before start
• Education verification required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance required within 12 months of start
• Tdap vaccination/documentation required
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation required
• Drug screening required
• Flu vaccination/documentation required
• 2 references required
• Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years in acute care and in a similar area to the assignment
• Skills checklist required annually

• SafeMedicate prep materials are provided for review before orientation
