Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Memphis, Tennessee
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 4x12 hours
- Hours per week: 48
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Driver's License
Schedule / Assignment Details
- On-call as needed
- Weekend coverage as needed
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted; 100-mile radius rule applies
- Block scheduling is not routinely accommodated, though weekend block may be considered during interview
- RTO must be submitted at time of application
Additional Notes
- Team nursing model with support from PCC, LPN, and others
- Large hospital experience is preferred
