- Scheduled 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation
- No guarantee of hours

Unit Details
- Progressive care unit with 15 beds
- Includes 3 step-down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds
- Typical ratios: 1:4 for progressive care and 1:3 for step-down ICU
Responsibilities
- Primary nursing care
- Telemetry monitoring
- Telemetry strip reading
- Fingerstick blood sugar checks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- 2 years of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Telemetry experience
- Acute Care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Progressive care experience
- Telemetry experience
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS certification
Floating
- Floats to all acute units in house, including medical, surgical/peds, ICU, and ER
Equipment / Systems
- Meditech charting
- Pyxis medication system
- BiPAP
- Continuous cardiac monitoring
