Certified Surgical Technician

Job Overview

• Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Role Summary

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Coordinates care across disciplines.
• Carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Uses standard precautions and personal protective equipment as required.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• NBSTSA certification.
• Driver's License.
• Open heart surgery experience.

Health and Compliance Requirements

• MMR documentation showing two vaccines or positive IgG titer; no declinations accepted.
• Fit test required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination.
• Health statement or completed physical exam.
• Varicella documentation showing immunity, vaccination, or provider-verified history; no declinations accepted.
• Tdap valid within 10 years.
• TB screening documentation.
• Influenza vaccine exemption or declination is accepted, but mask use is required.
