Location
- Bismarck, North Dakota
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- Call/standby required with LCD
- Floating required
- First to float
Unit Details
- Medical-surgical float unit
- 61 combined beds
- Typical patient population includes surgical and medical patients such as total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, CHF, CVA, SOB, and diabetic issues
- Nurse aide ratio: 1:15
- Respiratory equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Dakota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS certification
Clinical Expectations
- No titrating drips required
- Charge nurse/house supervisor: no
- Telemetry present; monitor tech reads strips and RN confirms
